Born in New York City, Juanita C. Clare was only a child when she delved into the mesmerizing world of arts. A professionally trained dancer and a lover of all things musical, she landed a reputable position wth MTV as a Production Coordinator and talent. She also worked in the marketing departments for urban labels Def Jam, Crave Records, and Island Black Music.
Recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award 2015 and 2016 earning a National & Community Service Silver President's Volunteer Award for 250 hours of community service. Hours completed with Feed My Starving Children, Diamondbacks Winter Classic, St. Mary's Food Bank Alliance, Crisis Nursery, Phoenix Zoo, Phoenix Children's Hospital, and Suns Nite Hoops.
Besides her unwavering interest in arts, Juanita also has a passion for writing and has been a writer her whole life. Her inspiration stemmed from the lack of ethnicity in the children’s book selection, thus she created an educational book that children from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities could relate to. She delights in entertaining the world with written words just as much as she loves to entertain with her dancing prowess.
In addition to being a full-time author and a mother, Juanita developed a website, momlifemanual.net, through which she connects with other mothers and devotes her time and resources to helping them thrive. She is the owner of the children’s clothing company, Trophy Babies, and is working round the clock to launch a new babycare product line. In addition, she holds a decade-old job at the University of Phoenix where she helps students achieve academic success. She currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona, with her significant other and two beautiful kids.
